Had this spot on my try list for a very long time and initially, I was pretty happy with the experience as the interior was very clean. Although it's a small shop, their menu is pretty extensive, and their specialty drinks come with a different type of cup. No seating inside, just a grab and go type shop. My partner and I ordered the BROWN SUGAR MATCHA LATTE and the DAY & NIGHT MILK TEA. Orders came out within 5 minutes so that was a nice sight to see. The drinks are definitely more aesthetic than anything. I was a bit disappointed with the matcha taste. It tasted a bit more watered down than matcha that I usually drink. The brown sugar adds a little flavor to it but that's about it. 6.5/10. The Day & Night MT was pretty similar, definitely a unique taste that I've never/rarely tried before. Charcoal taste with oolong tea, milk, and a bit of brown sugar is definitely a new taste for me. Not my cup of tea at the moment. The color mix is best for picture but give it a mix and the drink becomes full charcoal color. 5/10. I’d also say that their speciality drinks cups are pretty unique. I personally love the potion type gimmick although I’m not sure what the sizing of it is like com

Ugh I don’t get where this high rating is from. We got a large amber oolong quarter sugar with boba— it tastes like honey water, no tea at all. Overpriced for nothing. The two stars are for it’s a hot day, the boba is chewy and we aren’t dead.

Jin Tea Shop offers a myriad selection of tea fruit drinks and milk teas. The clear bottle of cold drink is a beautiful presentation; alas these drinks are not customizable and can be too sweet

A clean, minimalist aesthetic and a nicely curated organic tea menu that feels a bit more elevated than your standard boba spot. That said, everything I tried leaned too sweet, or too bitter, which is weird, even after adjusting the sugar level. I couldn’t quite land on a drink that felt balanced. There’s no seating—indoors or out—so be prepared to take your tea to go. Luckily, Central Park is just a short stroll away if you want somewhere nearby to sit and sip. Limited parking on the street, but there’s a structure close by that’s affordable, just $1 for the first two hours and a couple bucks an hour after that.

Small tea shop in Pasadena! Their tea are definitely high quality and you can taste it! Price is a bit higher.. but occasionally is okay for me. I got the grapefruit oolong tea and a winter melon drink. Their drinks aren’t sweet like the other tea shops. It doesn’t take away the authentic tea flavor which I love! Their menu is pretty big so you have lots of options. I want to come back to try their desserts. Parking is a bit hard to find especially after lunch hours.. there’s now a lot of outdoor dining so parking is now way limited.
